Brown Forest is our all-round woodland pattern, built to break up your outline against bare branches, bark and leaf litter — the dominant colours of a temperate forest from autumn through winter. It is one of our most complete ranges, covering both hide sizes and every matching accessory.
What is available in Brown Forest
- Buteo Mark III Brown — one-person pop-up hide, also sold bundled with a matching Snoot/Lens Cover.
- Aquila Mark III Brown — two-person pop-up hide with a 150×150cm base, also available bundled.
- Buteo Bag Hide Brown — a frameless throw-over hide, 155.5×180cm, 700g, ready in seconds.
- Matching Snoot/Lens Cover for Buteo & Aquila, and a separate one for the Falco low-level hides.
- Extra Rain Roofs for both the Buteo and Aquila Mark III.
- Spare parts: carrying bags for Buteo and Aquila, and a spare bag of pegs and guy ropes.
When to choose Brown Forest
Brown Forest works best in deciduous woodland once the leaves have dropped, on bare farmland hedgerows, or anywhere bark and soil tones dominate. For dense summer foliage, our Green Forest pattern is the better match; for snow cover, see Snow Forest.
Frequently asked questions
Does the rain roof come included with the hide?
No, the Extra Rain Roof is a separate add-on for extra protection during longer stays, on top of the hide's standard waterproofing.
Can I buy just the snoot cover without a full hide?
Yes, the Snoot/Lens Cover for Buteo & Aquila and the Falco version are both sold separately from the hides.
Is the Bag Hide as camouflaged as the Buteo Mark III?
Yes, both use the same Brown Forest print; the Bag Hide simply trades the pop-up frame for a lighter, frameless throw-over design.
