Our photo hides and their matching accessories come in several camouflage patterns and colours, each suited to a different habitat and season. This hub gathers every hide, snoot cover, rain roof, spare part and related accessory by pattern, so you can outfit a hide and keep every accessory matched to it.
The patterns and colours
- Brown Forest — an all-round woodland pattern for bare branches, bark and leaf litter through autumn and winter.
- Green Forest — matched to spring and summer foliage, dense green cover.
- Light Brown Forest — a lighter tan woodland tone, currently available on our lightweight bag hide.
- Snow Forest — a pale, broken pattern for winter and snow-covered ground.
- Reed — designed for reedbeds and wetland margins.
- Reed+ — a variant reed pattern for the same wetland habitats.
- Black — plain black, used on bean bags, lens rain covers, ground sheets and Walkstool seating where camouflage pattern is not the point.
- Green — plain green, including our hybrid 3D-leaf camouflage net and field trolley.
Matching your kit to your environment
A hide is most effective when its outline breaks up against the actual background you are shooting from — a Snow Forest hide in a green summer wood stands out more than an unpatterned one would. Pick the pattern that matches the season and habitat you shoot most, and keep spare parts, rain roofs and carrying bags in the same pattern so a replacement never mismatches the rest of your kit.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Reed and Reed+?
Both are designed for reedbed and wetland settings; Reed+ is a variant of the same pattern, currently shown separately as stock and product availability differ between the two.
Can I mix patterns on the same hide?
You can, but matching the hide, snoot cover and rain roof to one pattern gives the most consistent camouflage effect.
Why are some patterns used for hides and others just for accessories?
Camouflage patterns like Brown Forest and Reed break up a hide's outline against natural cover; plain colours like Black are used where the item is not meant to blend in, such as a bean bag or trolley.
