Darius Babelis, Lituania

My name is Darius Babelis, and I am a nature photographer from Lithuania.
I have a deep passion for capturing the country's wildlife and plants, showcasing their beauty and diversity through stunning photographs. What I particularly love about photographing wild animals is the unpredictability, the untamed nature of it all. You never know what you'll encounter, and that element of surprise is truly exhilarating.

I began my serious journey into photography in 2010, dedicating myself to honing my skills and exploring the natural wonders around me. In 2018, I published a children's book titled "Whisper, Whisper, Secret," which introduced young readers to the world of nature, encouraging them to observe and appreciate the environment and its creatures.
In 2020, I released a photography album called "Moments Frozen in Time." Through this project, I aimed to capture the essence of nature's beauty and those fleeting moments when time seems to stand still. My wildlife photographs have been featured in magazines, books, calendars, and even televised documentaries, allowing me to share the wonders of the natural world with a wider audience.
To stay inconspicuous in the field, I rely on the excellent equipment provided by Buteo Photo Gear, which helps me blend seamlessly into the surroundings while capturing those unique moments. It allows me to remain unnoticed and undisturbed, preserving the authenticity of the wildlife encounters.

I am grateful for the incredible experiences and insights this journey has brought me. Through my work, I aspire not only to capture the beauty of nature but also to inspire others to respect, protect, and cherish our remarkable planet. It is an honor to share my passion and continue exploring the endless wonders of nature through the lens of my camera.
