Good optics let you observe and identify birds and wildlife from a distance without disturbing them. We offer Noblex binoculars and spotting scopes built with BaK-4 prisms and German engineering, alongside thermal imaging and night vision equipment for low-light and after-dark observation.

What is available?

  • Binoculars — the Noblex inception, vector and advanced lines, from a compact 8x25 all-rounder to a 126m-field-of-view twilight specialist.
  • Spotting Scopes — higher-magnification optics for identifying detail at long range, including digiscoping-ready models.
  • Thermal Imaging and Night Vision — equipment for observing wildlife in darkness or very low light.

Binoculars or a spotting scope?

Binoculars are lighter, quicker to raise to your eyes and better suited to scanning and following movement, making them the standard choice for most birdwatching. A spotting scope trades portability for much higher magnification, letting you pick out fine plumage detail or distant subjects that binoculars cannot resolve — often used from a fixed position with a tripod.

Frequently asked questions about optics

What does the magnification number mean, like 8x42?
The first number is magnification (how many times closer the subject appears); the second is the objective lens diameter in millimetres, which affects brightness and light-gathering, especially in low light.

Are all these optics waterproof?
Our Noblex binoculars are waterproof and nitrogen-filled to resist internal fogging; check the individual product for exact specifications.
