The Buteo Mark III Green is a waterproof, one-person pop-up photo hide in green camouflage for bird and wildlife photography. Its green pattern blends into spring and summer foliage, grassland and leafy cover, keeping you and your gear dry, silent and completely hidden.

Built to keep you dry

An extra front canopy stops rain reaching the insect net and shades your lens, the improved roof lets water run off, and every window closes watertight with a two-way zip. In heavy rain you can seal the outer fabric around your lens and keep shooting.

Wide photo and viewing windows

Every photo window doubles as a viewing window. The two-part insect nets overlap in the middle with an elastic band that closes neatly around your lens and can be resized with a two-way zip. Windows sit at three alternating heights on three sides for full coverage.

In the field

The green camouflage comes into its own from spring through summer, when the landscape turns green: photograph among fresh leaves, in meadows and grassland, along green reed edges and in leafy woodland. Set the hide up a day or two ahead at a known spot – a perch, a feeding station or a drinking pool – dress it with local greenery, and the wide windows on three sides cover your subject and its surroundings without a movement.

Which season is the green version best for?
Spring and summer, when foliage and grassland are green. For autumn and winter, choose Brown; for reedbeds, Reed; for snow, the Snow version.
