Snoot / Lens Cover for Falco Photo Hides (Mark II & III)

The snoot / lens cover is a camouflage accessory for the Falco Mark II and Mark III photo hides. It conceals your lens when shooting from a hide and protects it against rain and dust, while keeping your hands out of sight as you handle your gear.

Compatibility: fits the Falco Mark II & III hides. It does not fit the Buteo Mark III or Aquila Mark III.

How it works

Made from the same strong material as our hides, in our own camouflage leaf pattern and black-coated inside. Remove the original window and mount the snoot with the Velcro, then draw it tight around your lens or lens hood using the cord and clip. An extra viewing window with insect screen sits directly above, so you keep a clear eye on your surroundings.

In the field

Wary subjects notice a bare lens and the movement of your hands at the window. Fitting a snoot removes both tells: the lens disappears into the same camouflage as your hide, and your hands stay concealed as you work. It also shields the front element from rain and blowing dust during long sessions, so you keep shooting when the weather turns – exactly when the best light often arrives.

Does this snoot fit the Buteo or Aquila Mark III?
No. This snoot fits the Falco Mark II & III only. The Buteo and Aquila Mark III use their own matching snoot.
